Traffic Patterns. I don’t know about you but I like my personal space, even when driving. Imagine you’re on the freeway.  Have you ever noticed how cars move in packs? There are clusters on the freeway and (I’ll have to reference some other science to prove this is true) but I’m sure there is a business book on one of my shelves somewhere that talks about automobile traffic patterns as related to web traffic

When I work my way through a cluster and find myself approaching another – I adjust my speed. Ah, now I can relax without all these other cars crowding my elbow space. I might be falling behind the cluster in front of me but I am out in front of the group behind me. Stay out of my way.

The crowd is crowded. When you just need a body, great. The crowd will give you several. When you need to see if there is a demand and get funded?
